The number of people suffering from drug use disorders has risen to 39.5 million, a staggering 45% increase in the same period.
As the toll of addiction-related deaths plunges, so does the silent sufferings of countless widows and widowers left behind. The impact is particularly severe on our youth, whose futures are often cut short by Intoxication.
